Formerly known as “Sapp’s Welding and Radiator, Inc.”, Leroy Holmes, Jr. and his team at Holmes Welding and Radiator is still the same family-owned business that brings over 100+ years of experience.

Holmes Welding & Radiator, previously known as Sapps Welding & Radiator, has been serving the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina area for over 100 years. At one time, the shop was located in what is now the Warehouse District of downtown Raleigh, NC. During that time, downtown Raleigh was made up of a lot of older industrial warehouses and buildings. Sapps Welding & Radiator operated there for a long time before moving its shop operations just a few miles down the road to Garner, North Carolina. In 2018, the company rebranded to Holmes Welding & Radiator and realigned its business operations to prepare for future growth and needs. Now, Holmes Welding & Radiator is one of the top welding and repair shops in the state.

Meet Your Chief Operator

Leroy “Junior” Holmes is the owner and chief operator at Holmes Welding & Radiator. With over 40 years of experience, he leads a team of skilled welders and machinists – all ready to help you with your next project.
